WELCOME ABOARD Ginette

Our crew is here to make sure you have an unforgettable time. When you arrive onboard, our captain and his crew will share with you the safety guidelines to follow in order to ensure you have the most serene journey on board.

We wanted to share some additional guidelines that we will ask you to respect during your stay onboard Ginette:

  • Sand and salt are known enemies of boats. Therefore, we will ask you to rinse yourself off after swimming or returning from a walk on the beach.

  • Shoes are not allowed on board. Our crew will place a shoe basket at the entrance of the boat so that they are always on hand should you need them outside the boat.

  • We kindly ask you not to smoke inside. You can consult our captain who will advise as to where you can smoke outside.

  • Some anchorages are subject to strong currents, hence before swimming, please let one of our crew members know that you will be in the water so they can keep an eye out for you. The same goes when you wish to use stand-up paddles or other nautical activities.

  • If you would like to go scuba diving during your trip, you can request a dive instructor. The same goes if you wish to book kite surfing lessons or other activities during your stay. Our crew is happy to share with you their passion for all nautical activities and will be delighted to accompany you.

  • Unfortunately, for insurance purposes, you will not be able to receive additional guests onboard.

  • For ecological reasons, we avoid changing sheets and towels too frequently. However, if you wish to change them or pass them through the dryer (before the weekly change) please let our crew know. You will also find suitable products in each bathroom, healthy for you and for our environment.

  • Onboard Ginette, you will not find soda or products in unnecessary packaging, our crew will take care of getting the most delicious and ethical products in the local markets, in order to cook healthy menus that are always varied and inspired. Whenever possible, everything is prepared from scratch onboard, so you can enjoy homemade granolas, fresh herbal teas, lemonades, or other seasonal juices.

  • Wines are at an extra cost, you will find a wine list on board. Our crew will also be delighted to prepare a cocktail for you if you wish.

This iPad is available for use while you are on board. You will find daily news on the New York Times and Courrier International apps. You can also enjoy a yoga lesson with our teacher, Guillaume, on video. Whether you consider yourself to be a beginner or at an advanced level, we have different levels at your disposal.

Please note - Life jackets are available whenever you need them, please consult the crew.

Our crew is in charge of your safety while you are on board, we ask you to listen and respect the rules that have been set in order to have a wonderful and safe stay.
